The Nine Lives of Schrödinger's Cat is an installation created for the 2018 Biennale Nationale de Sculpture Contemporaine, in Trois-Rivières, Quebec that unboxes the mascot of Quantum Physics in an attempt to understand the shifting relationship between science and culture since the industrialization of war. The city of Halifax, site of a massive explosion in 1917 that foreshadowed the atomic age, weaves it’s way into a meandering and rhizomic narrative about cricket, clowns, the ghosts of Hamlet, alternative facts, and possible worlds.
